BasLee Engineering Solutions (BES), Inc., (dba BES Inc) was
formed in September 2003 by the wife and husband team of
Sue Singh-Mundkur and Dilip Mundkur. The company is
named in honor and memory of two special people - Basdeo
Mohan Singh, Sue's dad and Leela Bhatt, Dilip's mom.
Basdeo Mohan Singh lived in the twin-island Republic of Trinidad and
Tobago. He was a successful businessman and was also instrumental
in the advancement of Carnival - the country's National Festival.
Leela Bhatt was a kindergarten teacher in Madras (now known as
Chennai), India. In her own special way, she made the first school
experience for hundreds of children enjoyable.
Throughout their lives and everyday dealings with people, both Mr.
Singh and Mrs. Bhatt led by example. Their virtues of Equity, Honesty,
Diligence and Innovation have been a source of inspiration and a
guiding light for BES Inc.
