56TH STREET CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENTS

 

For this LAP-funded project in downtown Temple Terrace with a Construction Cost of $2M, BES Inc prepared the lighting and signal plans. Pedestrian lighting, street lighting, and landscape lighting were designed to ensure FDOT highway illumination standards were not exceeded along this state road. Extensive voltage drop calculations, refinement of conductor sizes and minimization of conduits by ensuring NEC conduit void standards were met were other considerations in this project. Coordination with a downtown redevelopment project and an adjacent state project was critical.
