STATEWIDE BRIDGE AND SIGN SUPPORT INSPECTIONS

Our team of engineers are working on this Bridge Safety Inspection Program for complex and moderately complex highway bridges and fracture critical bridges. We are responsible for bridge component condition ratings, equipment coordination, execution of field inspection, quality control and development of inspection reports in compliance with National Bridge Inspection Standards and Department of Transportation Inspection Standards. BES is also responsible for planning and scheduling of inspection works and coordination with vendors, state & town police and the CTDOT Bridge Safety Department. To date, we have successfully completed the in-depth, routine, fracture critical, semi-final, and special inspection of various types & sizes of bridges, tunnels and culverts including steel, concrete & timber structures, box girders, concrete arch, pin and hanger bridges and truss bridges for approximately 520 bridges. Responsible for execution of field inspection using scaffolding, aerial platform, bridge rigging and Under Bridge Inspection Units (UBIU).
